Belgium 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 X-Tech LE Nara Bronze
Rear shocks
One of my rear shocks is dying, so I'm looking to replace them. I have recentst replaced the springs with HD ones, so that's already taken care of.

So what do I buy? I read a about Koni's, but I can't figure out which ones are the correct type? Other suggestions are also welcome.

Fyi: mostly I drive empty, but have a rooftent an other attachements permanently fixed to the car, making it wheigh about 2300kg. Fully loaded for travel, I think it's about 2600kg.

Defender 110 limited edition, 2.4 TDci from mid 2011.

I fitted Koni heavy track raids all round about 4 or 5 years ago on their softest setting and they really transformed the ride and handling.

Others on here recommend Bilsteins or OME

OME for me. First mod to my 110 Puma (50,000 miles ago and handling is still excellent) as they transformed the handling of my old 300tdi 110 and lasted over 100k miles.

+1 Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

OE on mine, can't complain but never tried the others.
Ok I get very good reviews most from 110 owners.
Maybe there is a pattern there?
