it's never a chore working on this project, but it's very rewarding to hear from like minded folk enjoying the progress. Yes galvanised cappings, rear light surrounds, front bumper, hood sticks, A- Bar, tailgate hinges & faseners, mudflap hangers door hinges etc etc. We're getting there 2007 90 Puma - Love it - Best car I have ever owned.

Thanks, we started with coach enamel, but really couldn't get along with it so switched back to what we sort of new from 25 years ago. Good old Celulose.
Put on nearly 7 litres of paint (mixed 50/50 with thinners) which is five good coats. It looks really good, I have not painted for about 15 years and was wondering about the best paint to use, I was leaning towards 2k products inc Raptor for the underneath and internals! Still lots to thinks about!

Bit of an update - took us three days to get this tub right and then fitted. the sides for the opening for the tailgate where not square, in fact they were miles off, we had to take the end panels off, re engineer them, respray them and then refit them. Ball aching tasks but at least its right. Good job my father spotted it when it was still in pieces.
