Not just me then? I thought I was on my own in having no interest in the football.

Count me in, televised football actually makes me feel nauseous, possibly a form of enochlophobia.

Why can broadcasters not accept than many of us have absolutely no interest?

Yep - I hate crowds too Whistle

If crowds on TV would that be enochlophobia by proxy?

Football leaves me cold

Not interested either.

Then again most of us are too busy fixing stuff than having the time to sit in front of tv even if we wanted too. Whistle Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Putin is lovin' it.

Poison a couple of people in Salisbury and we'll all rush over to spend money in your country and make you look good......

Now I'm off to watch Mongolia play footie with Azerbaijan, or whatever. Banging Head

Just watched a bit of Spain vs Portugal. Despite appearing to be a bit of a tosser, there’s no doubting the talent and athleticism of Ronaldo.

Like football or not (and I don’t), you have to admire the ability of certain individuals.

I agree.... I work in pubs/clubs (service engineer).... had a call today at 16:30h.... "my Tv's aren't working..." after I'd been to the site this morning and set them all up...

Landlord got his fingers in there and decided to change some TV's over, and FUBAR'd it all up (yes, usually you should be able to just swap over HDMi TV's from one to another no hassle) but the setup he's got is splitter plugged into splitter and another... what a bodge...

Then the place starts to fill up with football supporting tossers.... I just left at 1800h....

I love all this football on the telly. It means I can spend more time in the garage safe in the knowledge that I'm not missing anything good on telly.

I’ve been to two football matches. Ipswich vs Nottingham Forest circa 1985 and Sheffield Wednesday vs Bournemouth about 2 years ago (poor corporate thing). The Ipswich match was great - Dad had tickets in a box and remember eating my body weight in burgers and chips. The Sheffield match was ok because I had a bet on the outcome, otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered watching (I was captive).

That’s it, 2 games in 43 years, more than enough 👍

Football never really understood the attraction it has for millions its just 22 men and now women running around on grass for 90 minutes with an extra person in black shorts and top blowing a whistle when someone falls over and then pulling coloured cards from out of his pocket. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
