No one had a time problem before railways. Each town / village done there own thing.

Well actually there are still quite a few villages in Norfolk that do there own thing Cool

Maybe if we went back to those days the railways wouldn't have to give so much compensation for being late.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Norwich Station. I know you think your late arriving, but not if we are following Norfolk time" Thumbs Up

We have two cats, one is normal in as much as she sleeps for 22 hours a day the other is mad , as soon as the birds start to cough, which is normally about 02.00 am, she is up and starts her routine of jumping on heads, screeching down ears and knocking whatever she can find over . I'll be glad when winter and the darkness comes round again. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Not that I know of, but you would think she has a stomach watch by her ability to judge feeding time.

Just watched some male Australian cricketers blubbing because they have been caught cheating - pathetic.

He has been caught cheating. He has lost his job. He has lost a sponsorship deal. He blubs like a baby on TV.

Personally I would have banned him for life from professional sport of any kind.

Just like those over-paid numpties people adore who play football. The ones that dive on the ground when there has been no, or very minimal contact from another player....

Our Kids look up to these people and if we let them cheat and get away with it, what impact is this having on the impressionable minds of children?

Anyway, I need these impressionable kids to earn good money and keep me in the way I am accustomed to in my retirement Wink

It seems very odd to me - ball tampering is seen in the code as a relatively low level offence; and over the years many well known players have been cited for it with almost no repercussions beyond loosing a part of their match fee.

Now it's a national scandal? Confused

Yes. We are grumpy. The corruption in sport now is appalling. Far too much money about in sponsorship etc. I am of the Chris Bannister era. Sportsmen who played football in winter and cricket in summer and still needed to work!
