Great thread and some fantastic looking Land Rovers on here. One of the great things about Defenders is that each owner can customise to their own preference, but I favour the more simple look of Wolf rims for sure. I have been driving a Discovery since 2010 but hope to return to Defender ownership this year - a 2.4 Tdci 130 hopefully.

Conscious of my audience Whistle Whistle , but... here is my 300Tdi powered Discovery 2, 'Dingo', also on factory steel rims.

Great answer Blackwolf - thanks Smile

Genuine "Wolf" rims are only available in 6.5 width and have a 20.6 mm offset. The only choices with genuine rims are tubeless (ANR4583) or tube type (ANR5593).

There is much info online from tyre manufacturers and others concerning the matching of tyres to rims, and in my opinion most of it can be taken with a pinch of salt. For example, there are hundreds, possibly thousands, of people running 285s on Boosts (7") without any problems (even though this is perhaps controversial) , and Landrover themselves factory fit 235/85s on Boost alloys, which, according to the data you have posted, would be disallowed.

There must be a lot of "slammed and rimmed" kiddicars that don't conform too!
 Cheers,
Andy...

I would never have thought of Wolfs with Havanna, which is a great colour, but they work perfectly. Thumbs Up to white Wolfs, but not keen on other colours personally. I do think the tyres also make a big impact visually Rob

Just fitted 4 'Wolf' style steel rims to my '07 110 hard top. They are Tuff Torque brand and I am mightily impressed! They came painted white, front and rear and were well packaged, being plastic wrapped and individually boxed.

They are certainly heavier than the standard steel rims! I'm also happy to report that the stock wheel studs extend to the full depth of the wheel nuts, so the stud ends flush with the wheelnut. Looks good.

I refitted my Michelin Latitude tyres (7.50 x 16) they were a bit of a pig to get the beads pumped out but I managed in the end and they balanced up ok. Think the 7.50's are minimum recommended width for the Wolfs which are 6.5" wide where the standard steels are 5.5"

Unsure about naming the supplier here as I don't know the protocol, and don't wish to offend any sponsors or suppliers. The make can be found easily enough and they were less than £60 each including delivery. Ordered over the phone at 10am and they were delivered 0930 next day - to northern Scotland! Great service Very Happy

I've been lusting after Wolfs for a couple years now and when MrsM mentioned the old white wheels were getting a bit shabby, I took that as a green light to proceed.

Regards to all

Their are those on this forum that are for more knowledgable than me about HD rims, mine are Tubeless, not sure if the Tubed variety are a different profile? Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains

Genuine = no they are all 20.6 offset. Fake you can get allsorts

It's the skinny 7.50's which make them look undernourished as in a value beans diet Wink
