its a messed up world
So granted I don't know the ins n outs but on the face of it this all seems very wrong!?

Firstly robber quoted as: "would put a smile on anybody's face". I'm guessing those being robbed didnt provide this quote to the papers.

Someone has been arrested for stopping the armed robber Sad

A robber died after being restrained by members of the public. Seems perfectly ordinary to me that the police would investigate a death regardless of who it was.

I'm inclined to think the armed robber should be shoved into the gutter and left to rot rather than waste money on an enquiry.

I can actually see the day when mob rule is the accepted norm in the UK. Not a society I'd like to live in and not one I'd wish for the younger members of my family living there.

Investigate yes, criminalise no...but unfortunately people don't see that this a society being incrementally made on many levels, often stemming from people thinking their opinion is better than others freedoms to do what they please

Sorry to say that in our society it is too often do the crime and serve NO time !
It is called progress and it is for the liberally minded that have control these days.
