Foot well replacement (Driver side) RHD Defender 110 97
Hi Forum,

I have been searching without much luck on how to go about removing the old footwell.

I have thus far, removed all the bolt on bits, cables grommets its so its clear- it the foot well welded and needs cutting or is it auto adhesive ?

anyways pointers and red-flags welcome

It's an integral welded part of the bulkhead. Darren

If still the original footwell then I think it will be spot welded in, if so and you can still see the spot welds buy a spot weld drill bit.

No, it will need to be welded. The pedal boxes and steering all attach to it and so it needs to be rock solid.

Cut out the old one, then seam-weld in a replacement.
