It's not that tricky - the one on the right has vent flaps and the wrong bonnet. Darren

As above

Also the one on the right is now probably better made with the care and attention sadly lacking from the production line.....

I was going to say the one on the right is the Puma - famous for failed park switch on the wiper motor.....

One on the right is an older one, a 300 I reckon by the look of the intercooler and radiator set up. as well as the bulkhead flaps.
Can't see the dash on it either, the puma clocks binnacle and top blower vents are just about visible on the one on the left

No doubt the older vehicle is on the right, but it says one of the last 90s so it can't be a 300 as the 90 was pre defender.

Transplant maybe? Can't imagine someone has gone through such a restoration and left the old 2.5 turbo in it though?! Shocked
Might well be a 200, think they where the same, though Cant quite remember the 200 rad/intercooler set up, but sure looks like the same layout as the 300 with the little intercooler to the side of the radiator.

BuckBlu110: The genuine 200 set up behind the grille is the same though the part nos. are different I believe due to the different plumbing layout under the bonnet.

It cannot be a factory fit 200 if it is one of the last 90's as the 200 fitment came alongside the change to Defender. As said above, it should have been a TD at the tail end, unless it was a contract build. I have a '93 K Defender 90 here which had a 2.5 NAS and was built to a Royal Mail contract.

If the newer one really is one of the last Defenders produced, then someone removed the Defender bonnet letters and replaced them by the Land Rover bonnet letters used until about 2012 or so. Not many people doing that.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

The one on the right is a 1990 G
Had a unrepairable chassis, and a locked solid 2.5TD engine.
Has been fully rebuilt from a new Richards chassis, very low mileage 200tdi engine, rebuilt g/box and transfer box, rear fuel tank and new interior and all new exterior panels
