CR, Norway is a fantastic country to visit.
It is always considered to be expensive to visit, but as long as you avoid buying booze in pubs etc (take your own booze with you) Wild camping is legal as long as you are 200 metres+ from houses and not on economically viable land. Fuel is about UK prices. Food is the same as UK corner shop prices.

Scandinavian mile = 10 kilometres!

Some roads are toll roads and the cameras there work.

Many gravel roads, and the average road condition is worst then Sweden

Many new tunnels have been driven through headlands. Driving the older roads are much more fun.

The Danish, Norwegian and Swedish national club rallies are on consecutive weeks

PS Some fuel pumps are card/cash only. Some pumps only accept local issued cards. Cash ones do not give change so keep good low value notes to feed fuel pumps

The Norwegian Land Rover Klub has an English section on their forum HERE

English is widely spoken so language is no problem

CR, how long are you thinking of going for?

Have done some interesting routes to places like Norway but they can be time consuming.

Not Norway but close... Embarassed
Our summer trip this year is to go to Sweden - by way of ferry from Harwich to the hook of Holland, Up into Gemany then into Denmark and over the long bridge in to Sweden.
We've no fixed adgenda as we make it all up as we go a long. only deadline it the ferry back!
Cool
We toyed with going all the way to Norway, but want to have a slow trip with lots of time to do photography and explore, so wil save that till next time!

Having been inspired (well the wife has been inspired) by the Northern Lights trip in LRO this month, is a trip up to the top of Norway feasable for end of March/early April or would there be too much snow.

What are the chances of actually seeing the Northern Lights?
