on the subject of rear flanges. I replaced both of mine with the new rear diff, g.box and t.box and circa 5k miles later the one rear flange was well shagged / worn Shocked and hence replaced again while replacing rear wheel bearings.

why would one wear THAT quickly?

When replacing rear drive flanges make sure you use the latest one piece shafts. No outboard spline to wear 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2
