Side steps, what do you have?
Mine will need replacing shortly.

What do you have? I currently have CP ones at the moment that the previous owner fitted.
I'm not sure I want them again and quite like the I.C.E. style.

What do you think works nicely with CP sills?
Not really looking to go for black tread plate unless it's just rubber grip. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

I ended up going with the galvanized terrafirma rockslides/tree guards and had them powder coated. Also put on grip taped to avoid the tibia impaction fracture! These seemed like the best option because they don't affect clearance. 1999 Defender 110

Dixon Fabrications tubular rock sliders, coated in Raptor & sand for grip.

I wouldnt fit anything else tbh the added side impact protection for on road driving alone is reason enough

Ian series 1. I do like your stainless "steps". Did you have them made or were they off the shelf? Defender 90XS SW

Think I will be looking at the version the same as Carman has, Genuine.

Pricy though as per LR but seem pretty good.

I'd be inclined to drill a small hole in the plastic end caps, and tap a thread and use a Stainless fixing as a removable cap to use Dintitrol internal wax on and off.

I can see the merits of stainless, but I don't like bare stainless and the rest is mild steel but painted so that isn't a problem to me.

Time to put the pennies away, lots of them by the looks of it. Shocked Laughing Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

We optioned the factory side steps on our '13 Puma 90,..option "048AP".
There is some confusion as to what actually are the correct items as there are some that look somewhat the same, but aren't.
In view of some comments & images that I've seen on this forum regarding durability etc, I bought myself a spare set, which couldn't be bought as a set, only individually.
The part numbers are LR029295(RHS) & LR029297(LHS).
I also bought the supporting struts.
Not cheap.
