A bloke who regularly provides a specific service to the JLR product launch events told me that 'the CEO' mentioned the new defender in a discussion regarding this year's event. Not specifically, but not unspecificly either. So yeah, nothing really to see or hear here. But..... maybe ? Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

McGovern Just said its "not far away"

http://www.motortrend.com/news/new-land-ro...sign-boss/

But who knows what that means?

I guess a mix of DC100 and D5 kinda makes sense. Im just gonna wait and see.
But this silhouette makes sense.

Then again, McGovern said earlier this year its going to be nothing like those bloomin concept cars (DC100) we showed a few years go, because we took the Mick with those.

Oh, smoke and mirrors folks...

The Defenders, when they come, there will be a whole family of them, and ff you look at where we currently are and where we could be in six or seven years time, its a massive shift, McGovern said.

Six or seven years form now??? Shocked
You've waited three years, what does another seven matter?

My guess is it'll just look like a fat car like those Kia's and D5's just lifted a bit.

Probably hardly anything you can do with it yourself repairs wise and probably 35 - 38k which is much much more than the original. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Please Mr McGovern, could you make it look just ever so slightly different to every other Land Rover model you have designed?

Spoke with a relative tonight who works at JLR and he said the new Defender will be launched at the end of next year.

And it will have a hybrid version.
