Defender as10
Help please,I’m trying to fit the as10 into my defender so I have central locking,the problem I have I can’t get the as10 to communicate with the ecu,I have a nanocom,can get everything working,but when I go to start it it turns over but won’t start as soon as I connect the old as10 she fire straight away.cheers 2005 td5 90

I don't know about the coding side of things but others maybe able to help

However I recently added central looking to my defender via soldering in an additional relay. The guy who supplied is here and provided instructions... it cost about 8 quid and was dead easy.

Do you actually need to program the new 10AS?

The old 10AS unit should still have the components to control the central locking, you just need to tell the 10AS module that you now have central locking fitted. It may even have it activated by default and by plugging in the central locking wiring it just works.
