United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
Reverse gear switch wire required
Evening all
Seems the electrical connector that goes from the back of the gearbox switch to the loom is cut in two and I needs a new one
I've searched the usual places and can only find the switch and not wiring
Traced it back today after the reverse lamp stopped working
Can these be bought
If not can I buy the male connection or both and I will make my own

or a length of wiring harness from a scrap transit would do it I expect.

The wire in the photo does it go into the main loom on the opposite side
That were I've found a dangling 2 pin female I think

one wire from switch go to fuse under your dash and the other wire go to the back and Reverse light

Think I will extend the cut wires and plug them in to the plug I've found ,see if it works
As you say back to the Fuse box and to the light so must travel down the loom somewhere
