R380 300 tdi gear box mounts
has anyone ever replaced these? if so can you lads give me some tips?
My mot tester said that mine are Censored practically, and are causing some trouble for the setup. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Guernsey 1998 Defender 90 300 Tdi HT Nato Green
These can either be a pain or easy to do, the best way is to support it on a jack, loosen everything off to free the mounts, raising/lowering as needed. The rebuild is the same everything together loose and then have fun trying to align it al. It's not a hard job but can test the patience for some people.

The genuine mounts are quite soft so it is possible to manhandle them a bit to get them into position, watch out for the razor sharp edges of the heat shield on the exhaust side mounting though.
