Having wanted a Defender for as long as I can remember, I finally took the plunge and have purchased this super low mileage '03 Belize Green TD5 County HT from the local Land Rover specialist.
 Click image to enlarge Some of the 'improvements' that the previous owner had added weren't exactly to my taste so the roof has been painted, the roof rack, flashing beacon and light bar have been removed and the wheels have been swapped for a nice set of steel genuine 'HD' numbers. Here's a photo from a quick run round the block when I picked it up: Click image to enlarge I'm really very pleased with the way it has turned out and the local specialist have been superb. I've got a stainless bolt kit to fit at the weekend and there are still lots of little jobs to do over time, but for now I'm over the moon! Last edited by 1978 on 2nd Aug 2016 2:59pm. Thank you, you don't seem to see many Belize Green ones that aren't farm vehicles! I wanted to do something a bit different and I'm pleased so far! I was considering painting the HD/wolf wheels green too like a darker version of heritage edition, but I think that may be a step too far! Next jobs are stainless bolts, wipac crystal headlights, change steering wheel, etc..... |

Thanks very much, I was planning to loose the snorkel too until I realised that the Mantec ones require the wing to be drilled... |

Well, having promised to keep my Defender stock, the modifying bug bit me and shows no real sign of relenting! Here is a quick photo of how my pride and joy is looking these days...

It's a Trig Point, used by the OS to map the UK.
