2007 puma seal below windscreen leaking

The soft seal that runs across bulkhead is leaking on the left hand side - I can just see drips when its raining. Im sure this is a common problem so my question is whats the best or easiest fix?
Is there something I can do without removing whole dash?

Looks like test L and apply clear sealant on the outside of the seal
I'll try at weekend

I ran a bead of Sikaflex along mine and it's not leaked since. Put a dob behind the windscreen hinge brackets as a precaution also.

Personally I wouldn't use silicon, it's horrible to remove totally if you want to re-paint the vehicle at a later date.

I guess you can buy clear - its a grey defender

I used the same stuff as Dorsetsmith and no complaints so far. Mask the area externally before you apply the Sikaflex then wipe excess off with a wet finger before removing the masking. You can paint over the 291i version as well

Just a little story... I thought this was my leak too but it turns out it was actually the seal between the windshield frame and the roof !

The water would run a small way along the 'inside' gutter (behind the roof trim where the cables run) then down a piece of the roof casting on to the door seal then down the inside of the door seal behind the plastic trim of the A-pillar until it hit the seal you're taking about then do it's drippy thing... Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

If you're going to use sikaflex type stuff, use one that' over paintable, anything else is likely to cause massive problems should you wish to do any painting later on.
