Cars I once owned
Perhaps some of you wondered what has happened to cars you once owned , I owned the Mini Marcos in this picture twice in the past and has some minor success with it in club events much to the annoyance of V8 and V6 powered RWD Marcos no big arches when I had it

We owned this for 7 years, fun for 5, expensive for 2, sold and bought the 90.,then I really came upon the serious stealers and I thought Morgan servicing was bad Big Cry

I had Morgan's for a few years but then I bought an air cooled Porsche 911; much more civilised.

I give up Camelman. As Greeni says ^ ^ ^

Nice line up. And I would take the Unimog if I needed to make a choice if my 'Garage was burning'

For what it is worth, I had a 1986 Ford Fiesta 1.1L in bright yellow affectionately called the Lemon.

No photographs either. I expect it has entered the great car crusher in the sky many years ago. Cracking motor though. Nearly 100000 miles driven, serviced with usual service items and two front discs - oh and two new front bumpers and end caps but I couldn't blame the car for my lousy driving.

I must admit, the Unimog replaced the Ferrari in the end as it was more fun to drive Smile
(swmbo was not quite of the same opinion however Smile )

The guy who bought the Ferrari wrote it off the week after he bought it....

My Brother-in-Law wrote a Ferrari off in one of those track day experiences.

A word of advice for the unwary; Always take the insurance that they offer on the day. Money well spent by my Sister-in-Law and saved an awful lot of heartache and financial hurt.

Me and my other Brother-in-Law were in awe of this feet. He was really embarrassed. He still maintains he has no idea what happened. It broke free on a corner and spat him out. Even the 'pro driver accompanying said it was just one of those things and there was nothing he could have done.

The nearest I have to a Unimog is the Lego one my wife bought me for my birthday. I'd love a real one.

Only decent ones I think I have, since 2008 till 2016, I was well famous on the 306 forums for metros. These are very under rated for what they are, shame they are so few now. If the blue one hadn't have become a money pit and parts were still ok to source maybe I may have still kept it, and the 306 might have gone for the landy. Either way one was going to go Smile
These were very fun to drive trust me Twisted Evil

I learned to pass my driving test in a green gta one of those.

I don't have any pictures of them but the 2 cars i miss most are the subaru pickup both when it was standard and also with the 2.0 conversion and the other was the import legacy twin turbo nutter. Quite different cars but both were great fun. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I have had many Land Rovers from Series one through to 90 Puma through to Freelander 1 and 2 and without doubt this 90 was the BEST. I rebuilt it onto a new chassis and put in a 200tdi and used and occasionally abused it. Sadly I had to sell and I have regretted it ever since, I would love to trace it and perhaps buy it back and restore it and relive the fantastic memories this 90 holds for us
