Anyone know this history of this Defender 90? (Camel)
Hi guys,

I just purchased this 1985 Defender 90, with the Camel paint scheme, I am guessing it is the Camel Trophy version of an Indy Pace Car, but would love to know more about it, if any anyone has any insight.

Thank you in advance....[/img]

Pretty sure there was a Dutch LE Camel with those decals, assuming its built as Sandglow and not a respray (check in battery box, back of bulkhead etc) then its most likely one of those.

Aside from the decals, is there anything special about these? We were thinking up fixing it up a bit, and to that end, a possible paint job. I just do not want to be committing some sort of Landy Cardinal Sin my first week of owning one...

Thanks for the info...

interesting - I'm not a camel expert, but you might want to ask the Camel Trophy Owners Club for more info http://www.cameltrophy.org.uk

they usually look like this

Thats an event vehicle, the 90 above would be a local market special edition using the event to market it. A bit like a G4 LE as opposed to a G4 event vehicle
