helpful kids

doing car stuff this weekend. Came in for a cuppa, and after 5 mins my 10 year old came in and said "Daddy, I've been helping".

I asked him how, and he said "I've been spraying WD40 on the wheels to make them shiny....." We had a bit of a discussion about how brakes work after that, but at least he's enthusiastic.....

Totally agree - its positive.

The sobering thought is that you were unaware of him / her doing it.

Always worth remembering the safety aspect of leaving the car in bits in the garden (its my personnel nightmare).
