Just last weekend I masked up the lettering on my tyres, sprayed them with tyrewall black, then carefully painted the raised LINGLONG letters a brilliant white.

Why is everybody now making fun of my wheels? Should I have put the lettering inside?

Agreed...they go super well against silver. But, I know I'll end up getting the Bowler items eventually so might as well get them now!

It's actually Jay Boy's fault. I'm 99% sure he put the idea in my head Rolling Eyes

Yes, I'm happy with the decision.....although this afternoon I was looking at Nakatanenga wheel carriers. There's no end to the spending possibilities. It'd be cheaper to keep the McLaren!

Maybe I should sell the dual finish wheels? After all, if I ever sell it, who wouldn't want the Bowler wheels?!!

Bowler called this morning to double check it was the Race bumper I wanted because it wasn't going to be available until Wednesday? Initially I said I'd go with a Road bumper because they had them in stock but then quickly changed my mind back to the Race version. So I'll collect the wheels and steering guard on Monday and they'll mail order the Race bumper to me on Wednesday.

This pic convinced me it was the right choice:

Definitely no tracker, leather or double din! I would like a Momo alcantara wheel and the Recaro's!

Definitely need one of those vehicle inclinometers fixed to the top of your dash with rusty self tappers Mr. Green

I'm sure Jay Boy missed that off his list Rolling with laughter

I will sit on the fence. I like the lettering on the outside, but I personally would put my tyre white lettering on the inside. But that's just my opinion.

I'm with you.....lettering inside. Don't want it clashing with the 4' tall Bowler decal Whistle 110 DCPU
