No problem! Will also be driving back through spain / france and fancy checking out some lanes. Haven't done any research yet though.

North Yorkshire. This was a rearrangement of a trip we had planned for before christmas which had to be cancelled due to the snow, there were three vehicles. well, started off as four, but the series 3 got stuck in the first river , engine failed, then a battery problem and had to drop out Laughing

oh right, not good then! been meaning to ask, when we went laning in the lakes, what was the satnav thing you were using? quite fancy getting one as reading/driving with an os map isnt the best!

Satmap Active 10 Plus with charger and car mount. You get the whole of GB on 1:50,000 with it included now Thumbs Up

No didn't - but then I bought it about 2 years ago more for walking and canoeing than for driving, but its a pretty good green lane tool (incredibly accurate)

They are great little boxes. I was looking about 3 years ago, and MOD get a 20% discount so made me super interested.. but then got deployed and got into Memory map when I got back.
