Thanks - they're on my shopping list but handy to know they're cheaper on the SP website than ebay.

Did you get the standard black led or the crystal version? - can't see any difference in them apart from the price?

What you need now is a pair of LED bulbs for the side lights from advanced factors & some Philips X-treme bulbs for the spots to get rid of the yellow light altogether.

Be really interested to hear how you rate the headlights at night.

Thumbs Up

Hi vvs

I bought the black ones , the chrome looked a bit "chintzy" for my tastes

Replaced the rings with black coated stainless ones and fitted my gloss black
XS headlight surrounds.

The chrome bar & the Spots are gonna go , but will investigate the led sidelight bulbs tonight Thumbs Up

I still need to get the alignment checked , but that should be a quick job on the rig at work

No such thing as a quick job with a Land Rover Rolling with laughter

There are two types of black light on the SP website - one is £99.95 ex VAT, the other £109.95 ex VAT but I can't see the difference apart from the photo for one shows the E mark etc but descriptions say both are E marked.

I'm going to pop into Advanced Factors on Saturday morning as I need a full service kit with oils for diffs, transfer box, gearbox & engine, etc. let me know if you'd like me to pick up a pair of side light bulbs for you.

Cheers.

Hi VVS

Typical , I bought the expensive one Rolling with laughter

Thanks for the kind offer , I will probably get led sides & indicators in the near future

Unless somebody knows better and suggests what you are saying is the way forward ? Question

Cheers

Hello again ,

Well another little update tonight.....

Replaced the standard seidelights with some Wipac units

Tried to get a deal on them at the Scottish Land Rover Show , but nobody was selling sidelight or indicators as separate units. So I bought these off of 'Bay again.
Took a couple of minutes to fit , and compliment the led headlights beautifully Cool

Mrs P still wants rid of the chrome bar , I think I agree

Would love a soft "A" bar to replace with

Also fighting the urge to fit the lightbar I removed from the roof of my '90 Whistle

Don't really know what to do Embarassed
