transfer case leak defender puma
Hi I have an oil leak between the transfer case and the front output shaft is this a big job and what is involved cheers Tim Sad Cess the Taswegian

France 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Alpine White
Check carefully where its coming from,
1) input seal into transfer box from gearbox - transfer box out
2) intermediate shaft seal on transfer box - lower than above - transfer box nearly out
3) front or rear output seal to propshafts - pretty easy

Clean it ll up well, take for a drive and check where it's coming from

Out of the three vehicles with a LT230 l have had, they have all leaked from the intermediate shaft at about 100K Kms.👍 Quite reliably 😂👍
