What have I done now?
Whilst replacing the 2 bulbs which illuminate the heater slider controls, I must have disturbed the switch for the heated screen. It now doesn't work. Was a sod to replace the bulb holders in their holes - so lots of swearing and jostling/maybe brute force.

Initially, seemed to be a loose connection (fiddling with the wires going into the connector made the little LED light transiently on the switch). Then it was on and wouldn't turn off. Now it won't turn on at all on working the switch. Fiddling makes no difference any more. Connector snaps on to the switch OK and the wires all seem to be in place in the connector.

Seems likely I need a new connector (not much slack on that part of the loom). Can I tease the wires out of it so I don't have to cut them to fit a new one - if so how? Have I boll&&&d the switch😳 or is it something else?

Thanks guys.

Found the problem. The male connector part of the switch itself had slightly parted from the switch's main body - pushed it back together fully and all good. Missed it in my anger yesterday, but was easy to miss.

I'll stick to medicine.

Oh, and MOT passed - happy days 😅
