transfer box seal name?

Hi fed up of searching as bit of confusion, whats the seal called that fits inside the transfer box where the shaft from gearbox slots inside?

Great stuff MK, cheers for that, by anychance do you know what seal the gearbox side is and can that be changed easily when the old transfer box is dropped? Just im having a garage fit the disco box ive just got and was getting parts ready before taking it in, thought they could csnge gearbox shaft one if simple job, cheers

Not sure I understand. The above seal goes on the transfer box side towards the gearbox extension and seals the the input shaft into the tbox. Puma 110" SW

Which gear box do you have?

I've just got one for a 6 speed Puma MT82 uses... LR005800
It isn't easy to get at due to the adaptor/spud shaft setup.
I have the seal in front of me as in the process of fitting an Ashcroft upgrade shaft. Cheers,

Hey MK, yeah ive ordered the one you said for the transfer box but thought there was one on around the shaft on gearbox side , presumed so it was sealed with two seals on the shaft?
Alien pal got that many numbers codes in my head ha, its a 2000 td5 gearbox is it the r380?

On the tbox side is the same on both Td5 and 2.4 TDCi. As for the R380 I cannot help. Puma 110" SW
