Reconditioning some alloys, what colour?
So I found these in my dads endless reams of stuff, which are apparently period correct for my Tdi, any idea what they are called?

Got the wire brush and some sandpaper on two of them, will try to prep the other two by close of play next weekend (I do have all the center caps):

Shall I do them in white or silver?
(Probably going to put 265/75/16 tyres on them with 30mm spacers)

This is my 90 before I started the refurbishment:

They are

Deep Dish Alloy Wheel 16" x 7" ANR3631MNH

Usually silver but in your case with the roof white could work. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

Ah white wheels with a white roof look great. With the colour of your 90 i'd stay away from black and the darker greys.

Those are "deep-dish" alloys and were originaly fitted to TDI Discos, not Defenders, but then seen on some of the Camel Trophy Defender 110s at which point they became fair game. Look a little spindley on 110s IMHO, but 90s are good. Plus they are in youre old mans garage so bonus! Not sure what the load rating on them are but I suspect if they are good for a Disco they will be fine for a 90.

umm, I cant be sure but I think we used to call them wheels Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.
