Double self inflating mat
What is the best self inflating double mat money can buy? Looking for a really good sleep and many years of use. After using some air mats, repairing them and suffering cold it is time to invest in a really good mat. Space and weight no problem, the 110 has enough space. We use a OZtent F30 so enough room inside the tent as well. The Outwell Dream Boat Double 12cm looks not to bad. Any advice on here? TIA

I use a Vango Adventure DLX and am very happy with it. It's the 5cm thick double version although they do a thicker one also.

It's bulky when rolled up but comfortable and well insulated. The only downside is it does 'walk' a bit if you are sleeping on a slope.

Mega mat here also, but I bought two large singles for versatility. I attach them together with a standard mattress cover with some Velcro straps sewn on to tension it to stop them sliding apart. They do supply the mats with coupling straps but they are very flimsy 2002 110 td5

Appkit Double Dozer for me... 7.5cm of self inflating luxury.

It's pretty heavy but, feels like I'm sleeping on a home mattress.

Brands I can't help with as we are in different markets.
From experience thicker isn't always better, it's the foam inside that counts.
We went to the shops and laid on many before purchasing ours.
We use 2 singles with a fitted sheet often with a blanket under them before putting our bedding(sleeping bags) out.
The blanket reduces the ground transferring heat out and cold in to the mattresses.
Being singles we believe it helps with the above also.
The blanket also reduses them sliding over the Oztent floor.
Being singles they are more manageable when packing the rear of the beast or traveling as a single person.
We used the blow up mattress and will never buy another, self inflators are the way to go.
Good luck in the hunt. Cheers,
Kyle.

We use a couple of vangos with no problems
Two singles are certainly easier to roll up than a double and more versatile

Went for the Exped MegaMat Duo and used it for the first time this weekend. Fantastic! Great sleep, very nice quality product. Hopefully it will last for many years. Thanks everybody for the replies.
