Bent Air vent flap
Any tips on how to get this flap to fit close properly. It seems one half of right hand side hinge is bent down. With it in situ I've tried tapping it upwards with hard mallet but no luck and don't want to hit it too hard in case the spot welds break.

Please excuse the pigeon poo on bonnet!

It looks to me like the pin on the left is bent?

If it is, try this:

It looks to me like the hinge on the right hand side that is welded to the flap has had the pin hole rolled over. I'd take the flap of and with some grips, unroll the pin holder until it's level with the other. Ray
