Another little mod today.. fitted a fume curtain from a soft top to make it cosier in the cab this winter.. I used some black plastic conduit I had in the garage to make the frame and fixed it with some velcro wrap around ties to the headlining to hold it in place..

Yes... the only big draught I had was through the drivers door.. I adjusted the seal and the catch to cure that... I mainly do shortish journeys, 10 miles ish and the engine doesn't warm up much in that time.. I could get a radiator muff but I'm not keen. Hopefully with the heated seats and windscreen it will be better and I can have the warm air blowing down to keep my feet warm Wink 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

Rolling with laughter true though Thumbs Up

Good Luck with that Procta, what have you got to do?

Today I fitted one of these.....

The old one was disintegrating where the fins are... splashed out on some new hoses too.. Didn't get round to doing the coolant ones today apart from the top hose which I had to remove in order to get the intercooler out.

very, very neat there! Be one of the jobs I will do at some point with the hoses, when I come around to replace the rad.
My dads got some welding to do on his out rigger, there is a massive hole in it and a small hole inside on the chassis side too.
A mate is going to weld it though this time, after the fun I had with mine. If there is 3 of us tackling our terr, it should be back in business faster. All the parts that were bought are installed now so its just the case of fettling. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
