Well the Dab aerial splitter got lost in the post... Dab on wheels were excellent and a replacement was duly sent out and arrived the next day.. Great service.. I went for the Kinetic splitter. Fitting is easy, turn off the DAB aerial power on the HU, plug in the dab aerial connector to your HU, unplug the FM arial from the HU and plug into the socket on the splitter and then plug the aerial from the splitter into the HU, connect to a 12v power supply, quicker to do then to type! Thumbs Up
Works great with a strong signal. 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

spot on info! I think a few things have gone missing in the post quite recently too for me, I ordered some black caps for the front end, ( so that I can secure the bull bar better) those seemed to have gone west.
how much did the dab setup cost if you don't mind me asking? Might be an upgrade for me this when I do the head unit change cover. but the info will be past on to my dad. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I had some Knee pads go missing the same week... wasn't my postie as he is the best postie I've ever had.. always takes care of any things that don't fit through the letterbox.. either by giving them to 'the old woman' over the road or putting them in a safe place in the garden.

Anyway I digress,... the DAB thingy-me-bob was £19 inc p&p... it's nicely made and small.. and I thought it looked better than the similarly priced connects 2

It's working well so far.. I don't go far though.. into Leeds, around 15 miles away keeps a strong signal strength.

I'm hoping to fit my Urban springs in a couple of weeks..

Yes... I have the Urban springs to fit in a couple of weeks..I'm using the Disco spring isolator thing-me-bobs as well..so it won't be lowered too much... I am on holiday then, first week is tiling a kitchen floor for a friend... Also I have the uber expensive gauge to fit.. EGT and Boost.. and I have also got a new intercooler on its way.. I had a bit of a mad spend..I think it's my age or hormones.. Embarassed hence having to do some overtime.. the insurance and tax is due and the Audi is in for a service £409.70!!!!! But it does take a whole 2 hours.... Shocked
At least I will have a busy holiday.. I will probably have bad knees and a bad back by the time I'm done. 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

sounds like you have a expensive and busy time a head! I have just come back from my two week shut down last week, During the two weeks I was able to get the hammer down on mine, rather than just waiting on the weekends.
I have my Peugeot to sort out with than oil change, I did sort that out with the drop links too, and a pal helped me sort out the injector hiss. Just think how much that would have cost to sort out!
Audis are known to be expensive sadly, are you getting a timing belt done? Or just an oil change plus filters? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Its just a service.. oil and filter change, plug it into a computer while I have a nice coffee while I wait to get robbed Neutral
I think this will be my last new car and I will go for something to keep next time.. Or maybe run Alan full time.... 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

that's one of the reasons why I wont buy a new car, costs more at the dealers to keep the warranty up by servicing them.
The newest car I bought was the 306 on a Y plate, it was 6 years old at the time, and just serviced it my self.
Timing belt I got my local garage to do that, but a part from the odd repairs they have carried out for me, I have just sorted it out my self.
I have retired it from running full time now as its too good of a car to clock the miles on, so its now used as a weekend car. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
