All Sankeys have shocks, all widetracks (as far as I know) have ARBs.

I don't think the early ones had shocks.

Back in the early 1950's both Sankey and Brockhouse made these trailers for the military.

Certainly the Brockhouse version didn't have shocks:

That's a half-ton, no shocks. I think all the 3/4 tonners had them (my early narrow track did). Only wide tracks have ARBs.
