Renewal
Hi just had a renewal text
Your motor insurance is due for renewal shortly. Please call us on 01635879921 to maintain cover. Thank you

But

1 I'm out of the country for another 3 weeks
2 don't know when the actual renewal is and naturally don't have any insurance docs here to get policy numbers off
3 noticed the number quoted doesn't seem to be the one you suggest to get the best quote on

Any chance you can help 3 Landrovers

That number's coming up as Direct Line Insurance.

Sounds legit.

... and they should be able to confirm your policy number with your address and DoB.

I just got the exact same message today, it's definitely the A-Plan "renewals" dept. They'll be able to give you all the info you need.
