crossmember seat belt brace bolts
Hi all - planning a sanding down and refurb of the rear cross member on my TD5 90. I have rust around the bolts either end of the rear crossmember - which I understand are for the seat belt brace bar. I'm guessing I need to retain these as I have Exmoor forward facing seats in the back.

If I remove these bolts to better access the rust, are they straight forward to simply screw back in afterwards, or a nightmare?

Thoughts/ tips very much appreciated.

Did similar recently.

No issues removing the brace bar on my 2008 puma. Even though the puma is newer it has been problematic on occasion with dried up/corroded up bolts being a chore to remove intact, but these weren't.

There are two compression tubes inside (to stop the bolt tension from crumpling the crossmember) that might fall out of place, but mine were nicely held in by dirt, yours likely will be too. Nothing a podger or driver cant hold in place though, simple stuff.
