1995 Defender 110 V8 Petrol SW Barolo Black

Converting from gas (petrol) to diesel , help

Hello
I have defender SALLDHMV8MA95**** , 1995 LHD 110 Station Wagon, V8 petrol engine. Can I replace the engine to diesel engine , currently is working on gas (petrol)
If i can replace it , where i can find diesel engine to buy
