Slave cylinder on 300tdi
I need a new slave cylinder, looking on here I see genuine parts appear best chioce and I have ordered one from ny local Land Rover dealer (in stock and cheaper than my limited search)
My question is that my searches revealed two types depending on gearbox serial number (mine is the older type) however the dealership tell me there is only one for the 300tdi and the other one is for the TD5.
Are they correct or am I going to be disappointed when I try to fit it, possibly?

Depending what's wrong with it, assuming its a split boot you can buy a rebuild kit for them.

I looked at the kits but need it doing ASAP for a trip so thought I would just swap it and later maybe sort the old one for next time.

The part number I found was FTC5072, the FTC5202 is for the higher serial numbers....I think, this is what is confusing me.
