KBX wing top air intake
Any good? I read that they can help increase air flow through the heater a little. Other than that they look a bit more interesting than the standard flat grill.

Also why sold in pairs? What are we supposed to do with the right hand intake when that is blanked off on a TDI?

Thanks

P

The idea is that you fit both. The drivers side one is non-functioning, but they look better as a pair. I had them fitted until recently, only removed as I fancied a change and fitted a snow cowl. I don't think they make any dicernable difference to the airflow for the heater as that's all determined by what goes on in the heater box, is matter how quick the air gets to that point! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Thanks Green Machine,

Did you leave a blanking plate under the right hand wing top intake?

Have seen the snow cowls but not much of that stuff down this way Cool

No, the KBX vent wouldn't sit properly if the standard blanking plate was left in as well, so it has to be removed. Just means that a bit of rainwater / spray finds its way into the engine bay but it's negligible really, especially on a Land Rover where the bonnet barely fits.
