While I love my 110 Double Cab the rear mists up like theres no tomorrow making driving a bit of a pain. Tried the Rain-X Anti Fog which was total cack.
So got me wondering if there is anyway to retro fit heater elements or any other way to demist it remotely. I found this but not much info out there, anyone done anything similar? https://www.holden.co.uk/displayproduct.as...rettyPhoto |

I have pondered exactly the same myself. My only solution was to use the kit you have shown with one of the one piece rear window glass conversions from VGS as I rarely open the rear window and the original plastic latches are awful.
in my 02' the rear heated screen wiring, fuse and relay are all in place, It simply needs the wiring rerouting and an OE switch adding. Not sure if those kits are very powerful but surely better than nothing. If it draws close to the 5A shown for fusing it would be 50-60W I guess which I think is similar to heated mirrors which work quite well. I haven't done it myself yet though Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread 84' 90 3.9 V8 Caged Pickup Build Thread - Now For Sale |

Check to see if you have the factory headed screen wiring at the back. If you have just extend it forwards and add the factory switch and relay.

I will have a custom Raptor dash plate fitted, so I'll have to move a few things around but it'll go in.
I'll check but I doubt it, LR didnt even include the £2.50 relay for the central locking in the pov spec TD5s! |
