If you go on the last weekend of May they have a big Land rover meet.
The rest is more or less the same as everywhere else in Europe.
I'm going next month in my 110.

That's a pity, earliest I can do is beginning of June. I've done the Pyrennes on the big KTM's the last two years running & noticed many of the trails have been closed to motor vehicles. Is Portugal off road friendly?

It is until the start of summer because of the wild fires but you can always do a few lanes.
If you have any questions you can ask here.
All helpful people.

I went earlier this year with a group and had a great time. As I understand it, if there's a track without obvious restrictions then you're allowed to drive on it.

If they're convenient, these two camping spots are well worth a visit:

Very pretty.

Slightly less pretty but very good toilet/shower facilities and possibly the best hand soap I've ever used.

Stunning country with very friendly locals. We did a trip south to north over two weeks. Wild camped a lot but we did stay at the first campsite Cupboard mentioned which was very good. We went over Easter and most on the trip used ATs tyres which were fine. We used an Oztent and had no problems pitching it.

Enjoy your trip Thumbs Up

Ferry booked 31st May to 20th June, more than enough time to explore.

Its Rates-Billing - http://rates-billing.net/ and the first weekend of June. The 'Billing' part of the name is actually taken from the UK Billing event! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

How do you know it's the 1st week in June? I've been told it was the last week in May by one of the guys on the Billing Facebook page. Be good if it's June, I'll be there for it..

^^^^ Those are the dates on the website - however, having looked at their facebook page, it shows those dates as being for the 2016 event, so they are probably incorrect - apologies. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....
