Window lift switch connector shells/inserts
Does anyone know where I could get hold of s number (ideally four) of the white 6-way connectors to fit the electric windows switches (YUF101521LNF) -

The part number above is the number for the switch, not the connector shell. I believe that the shell is YPC113220 and is an AMP Multilock part, at least the receptacles are AMP Multilock.

For some reason this connector appears to be as common as the proverbial rocking-horse doings.

PaulMc mentioned in a post some while ago on this forum that he had some, but he hasn't read the PM I sent some time ago (it's still in my Outbox so hasn't been read) - does anyone know if he's still active on the forum?

Thanks!

Looks like a "Multi-lock 070 6 pin Female Connector" maybe?

First hit on google: http://www.cycleterminal.com/amp-multilock-070.html “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.

Sorry Martin if I misread the tenor of your email, I took it to mean that you'd rather not bother if I could get some elsewhere, but were willing to get some if I was stuck! I dodn't mean to cause a glum face!

With the number of people now who reconfigure their dashboards, add electric windows, etc, having a selection of these on the forum shop would I feel be a populer move.

Thank you, and sorry!

Martin - You should put up for sale Econoseal and Superseal connectors too.
They are always in demand for various things, I'm sure they would sell.

Plus of course the OE type of connectors like BW was looking for.

I too have been trying to reach PaulMc for some time without any success.

Are there male connectors to these to create a plug and play loom for the extension ofsome of the dash switches on the TDCi ie. rear wash and wipe as well as front and rear heated screens or should I just cut off the existing plugs and extend the wires?

All help appreciated.

An update to this thread.....

The window lift switch connectors are in fact NOT AMP Multi-lock 070 6 pin Female Connectors as suggested above, because the ones I ordered have arrived and are much smaller than those required! Big Cry

Martin, I will now be ordering from the forum shop after all! I presume that the ones you list are in fact the correct ones, not the same incorrect Multi-lock 070 ones I bought from Simtek.
