Check there isn't a high resistance to the earth, the earth is common so could affect a lot of things. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

have check these against 91 90 wiring ok, fuse box layout will difference but wiring colours are same and pin out same to the relay and motor too

There are some tests you can do if you have.

Just a thought, you did obtain the correct - New Lucas stalk! as for a 1992 Defender there are two types one gives intermittent and one does not. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Difficult to mix up the stalks as the two different types won't fit the indicator switch assembly bracket without modifying a clearance hole.

(I've got an intermittent stalk on the 1988 soft top)  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
