We have for sale Paloma our 1967 series 2 a LWB double cab 2.25 petrol. 12 months MOT with no advisories. Between 2009 & 2017 she has failed her MOT twice. The first time was Jan 2015, that was an earth fault with the lights & the second time was Oct 2016 where the brakes were pulling badly to the left. From 2009 to 2017 she has had no advisories on any of the MOT's. We bought her off of the second owner the first owner being his uncle who had purchased her new in 1967 & changed her taxation class to limited use as he used her to tow stock trailers around his farm. She was used for this purpose until 2006 when she was passed to his nephew who between 2006 & 2009 rebuilt her with a new replacement chassis into the double cab we have today. She had her taxation class changed in Dec 2009 to historic vehicle. We bought her on good Friday 2016 & between 2009 & this date she had only driven 700 miles. We have since done around 2300 miles mainly using her to commute. She was put into full use the week after we purchased her after we gave her a full service. Since then we have replaced rear propshaft, exhaust, master cylinder, slave cylinder, all 6 wheel cylinders, bean can reservoir & 4 new drums.she has a Salisbury rear diff a fully working and watertight smiths heater with windscreen vents,6 elephant hide seats a rear catflap & 5 good 750x16 tyres,and a Dixon and bates drop hitch,the picture showing the rear you will notice the crossmember is set back slightly the chassis hasn't been shortened but she has short removable extensions to allow for the rear tub,so if wanted she could be converted back to a single cab pick up,any questions please pm me £3900 many thanks Paul Tash n Barney (07766 325028)
