I think early puma hard tops had square wheel boxes, probably using up old stock. Ray

That answers my question Mk collector, I imagined there must be a bracket going from the seat mounts to the chassis somewhere.

I think all 2-door 90 and 110's built as hard tops or truck cabs had square wheel boxes. My 2015 90 hard top has square arches.

My 2011 Puma has square wheel arch boxes, it definitely wasn't just an early thing.

Do you still have the rear panels that you took off to fit the window sections?

Can I ask about the rear seats, as I may do the same in the future.
Where do you get the replacement panels from? And do the mounts for the seats bolt onto these replacement panels, or somewhere else on the rear body? My thinking is that if they bolt onto the replacement panels, then the installation is relying on pop rivits to hold the seats in place.

The panels themselves came from CSK (Killer90) and the main bolts are directly through the tub (which is original)
the hinge bolts are through the replacement panel which has around 30 number rivets.
I am currently trying to source the brackets for the inside of the wheel arch. "Of Course, Of course, I ain't asking . I'm telling!!"

How come it had a square-edge rear tub if it is a '07 Puma? I thought all Pumas had the stepped tubs.

No the vans had square arches
Would have been great if they hadn't "Of Course, Of course, I ain't asking . I'm telling!!"

That makes sense in a way, I suppose. I can understand that LR might not expect people to retrofit forward facing seats in a van, though clearly people do this.

What is odd though is that my 2007 Double Cab has the shaped boxes in the back, when clearly it is impossible to fit forward facing seats in the rear (they would be outside)! Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that this is because the rear tub is the same as an SW or USW, it isn't at all, since it has the bulkhead and the front end of the tub is totally different. Heaven knows why the DC tub has the shaped edges!
