2.4 Going into lack of boost mode, CodeP0234 turbo overboost
Hi all, when I give my 2.4 a heavy pull up an A road in 5th/ 6th gear it goes into half power, basically has no turbo boost, turn it off then back on and it's back to normal. It logs the fault code P0234 turbo overboost condition.
Anyone know where to start looking or had this issue??
I've checked all intercooler pipework and has no splits or hissing noises, so I'm thinking MAF sensor???
Let me know your thoughts please,
Many thanks

Mine kept having that until I got the EGR disabled, but I was getting EGR and MAF errors too.

I know the problem is solved. But I have another solution:

I had the same problem. It was a broken cable from turbo connector.
