No there is a wiring loom which plugs into the Td5 connectors (3 of them), one into this box and one into the Puma gauges Smile  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

All gauges and warning lights work - see the videos I posted earlier in the thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/post707908.html#707908

Yes it is connected to the Td5 ECU as it has to get various signals from it, it gets these from the dash connectors.

The Tdi version is similar but interfaces directly with the coolant sensor and alternator W terminal.

A kit will comprise of the controller as above, plus the correct loom for your engine. These looms are plug-and-play as far as possible, with either no or very little hardwiring required.

A basic loom will also be available if you have modified electrics and don't need/want a plug-and-play loom.

The controller has been designed to support other engines, but Tdi and Td5 will be available from the start.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Super this lookes realy promising. the Puma dash is build in my td5 and up and running. just need to get the dash up and running.

(no need for a loom, would have made a lot of things easyer). keep my posted with the progress.

Lennard.
