Leaky Radiator
Walked up to the parked 90 the other day I noticed its been marking its territory (awwwww). Dog

Having just driven 200 miles it seems to have leaked out and around the radiator... area (it was quite dark). It was quite a cold (-3) road trip from Dundee to the lakes so i thinking the cold air might have helped keep things cool. Shame Scotland is renown for it long hot summers!

After checking the expansion tank its definitely dropped but not considerably. Doesn't seem to leak when its cold, so I'm thinking it may be down to pressure. Question

Other than ripping it all apart any pointers to fault finding?
What pressure does the radiator system work at normally (when its all hot and running)? Worth getting a pressure gauge or a pump to test it? Chris

Fellow dundonian Thumbs Up

Mine was the complete opposite. Only leaked when cold, could see it tracking down the road fins, onto the crossmember and dripping onto the ground
Oddly, it never got close to overheating either

Cheap enough to repair though Thumbs Up

Have a look for stains at the fuel cooler before starting it up.
The O rings only leak when it's cold and coolant could be migrating down the hose towards the radiator when stationary.

Cheers, Kyle. Cheers,
Kyle.

So drove it out to the back of Dundee (15 mile trip). Bone dry when I arrived, left it to cool and the drips appeared.
Might be on the same lines at Mikey's.

I'll bring it round in the new year Mikey! Very Happy

Alien, seems dry before starting it up but will keep an eye on it! Thumbs Up Chris

Due to lack of time and daylight in the week, ended up taking it to Disco_Mikey at MMP, Dundee.

Turns out the radiator was Censored, to say the least. what looked like a few missing fins, behind was a ruined radiator bowed and leaky!

Thanks to Mike though who had it diagnosed and turned around with a new shiny one within 2 days! Excellent work, thanks mate! Thumbs Up

Looks very similar to mine which I changed before Christmas.
All the fins had corroded at the bottom and the lower edge was bowed.
Mine wasn't leaking but it wouldn't have been long.
