Do you guys visit any shows? Would be great to have a poke around your engines.

Uprating the injectors will give you more power than a vnt. It may require a turbo rebuild (as yours has done so many miles) to have enough air to burn the fuel.

The one about the om606 by dieselpumpuk?

Today's been frustrating, can't seem to get above 2psi at the intake manifold even though on a drive this afternoon a boost hose blew off, going to recheck pipework for any restrictions, don't think it's crazy lag from the bigger turbo. Confusing Confused

I'm up for a meet provided mines built Laughing

The OM I'm sure is worth every penny. I'd love to know about his drivetrain upgrades though as it is heavily stressed even with a td5 or tdi. And you don't want to be taking it steady for the fear or breaking something.

Boost Is the wastegate working as it should?

Tightened the boost pipes and temporarily disconnected the wastedgate-to-compressor hose and we're up to 8psi!

Now to find the other 20 Thumbs Up

Found a major boost leak and now we're at 18psi at the inlet manifold. Interestingly there's barely any more lag if any, the power comes on smoother and at full chat the full 3" downpipe gives EGT's about 150 degrees C lower!

Vid coming soon
