Cheers guys Thumbs Up

Nothing much to report other than I took the front prop out the other day and she gets sideways in third when the boost comes on (wet road, going round roundabouts - nothing spectacular)

Currently on the lookout for a stumpy R380, but being between jobs means funds are pretty thin!

We're trying to expand the channel so that we can do more fun stuff (110 merc-engined project with ~400hp being thought up atm, to upset the V8 guys Whistle ). Got a few stickers being made and thinking of spreading the word at the Peterborough show.

Thumbs Up

Me to about dreaming of the 606 Laughing There has been some talk on here about the 606 and it's tight fit into a defender but the 605 is a better fit, but of course not as much power Wink i'm still waiting to see what is going to happen with the " diesel " issue Rolling Eyes 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. No but they're quite pricey and would prefer an inline 6 if only for the noise Cool

I would've thought it'd be a much easier swap due to less electrical integration?

That said i've seen a D2 with a 606 and it looked factory. 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

Yeah understood with the electrics, my plan would be to use a mechanical fuel pump from the om603 as is standard practice with the superturbo guys online. Haven't done my research yet but I think this keeps electrics at a minimum, along with a decent manual box and (I'm guessing) running the LT230 in a divorced setup.

All this in a ratty old 110 so that A) It doesn't get nicked and B) It's a true sleeper

So the engine is almost complete. The exhaust is definitely a tight fit at 2.75" Shocked

Not my handy work I'm afraid. TIG is not my strong point; luckily it is becoming second nature to my mate! He's fabbed a new downpipe that connected to the rest of the TD5 sports system I have fitted.

Bet that Td5 exhaust will sound great Wink allot of work went into that, it's one of those things you could take a pic of and hang it on the wall Bow down 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.
