Wont be disapointed i have them on my 110 and due to working away never got time to swap them out during the summer, done approx 3k on them and still got over 80% wear left on them. Cool Cool

I've not got the full blown snow tyre but the Nokian ATR is still going strong

Hi,

Are Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2’s any good on a defender . . . I'm thinking of getting some for my 18" Bowlers ?

Very Happy

i have the LT IN 235/85 16 on bowler perfect you want to try and avoid 18 inch Tyres for winter use .

Why are 18" wheels less good than 16" for winter Tyres ?...

I'm thinking about UK weather conditions here; where ice, very shallow snow or slush and rain are the likely road surface conditions rather than deep snow which where I live is very very rare.

Personal choice but i have a set of 18inch JE wheels with toyo road tyres and have to admit the 16inch make for a far better ride.

16 are just better for snow and ice and wet weather

Winter tyres are generally much softer so they stay pliable at low temperatures, the byproduct of this is a better ride Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
