Yes, always a nervous time. Not so much the MOT itself but leaving my defender in the hands of someone else. All came back ok though which is good Thumbs Up

Hi grafty99

wonder if you can help. I really like your mod's with the indicator stalks and the light stalk.

I have a pair of stalks but am struggling to figure out the actually function of the switches.

Do you happen to have any info on the pinout of the two stalks ?

Cheers

Hi Martin.

I'm not sure about the stalk pinout as I had the two vehicles side by side. All I know is that the wire colours were the same.

The LH stalk is identical in function to the defender item.

The RH is the same except the slider adjusts the resistance through the intermittent wire and pulling the stalk towards you puts the wipers on constant for as long as you hold it.

Hope that helps? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

How did you get them to work with self cancel? I have toyed with the idea of doing this to mine at some point, but then again I don't know much difference there is with the 300 and TD5 electrics wise. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

The self cancel works off the steering wheel the same as before. You have to change the cancel pins slightly but other than that it's pretty easy Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
